Naval illustrator Joe Hinds is offering a small number of his original pieces. These include his CSS Hunley, CSS Arkansas, and two versions of his David torpedo boat. Reproduction prints are shown directly below, while shots of the originals that hang in Joe's home follow.
Joe's naval illustrations are valued at $3,300 apiece by a certain naval museum in Norfolk, Virginia which now owns five of them. In light of the current trying times, Joe is offering four of his original pieces at well below this registered value. The new owner will have to arrange for shipping, which is simplified by the fact that each work is covered with Plexiglas; this is about a quarter the weight of regular glass and offers better UV protection.
